If you’ve been thinking about physical therapy, sports medicine, athletic training, nursing, or pre-med, this academy helps you stop guessing and start experiencing the field. You’ll train in a structured, professional setting where you learn how PTs assess movement, support recovery, and communicate with athletes and patients. By the end of the week, you won’t just “know about” PT—you’ll understand what it feels like to work in it, what skills matter, and whether this path fits you.
Daily Schedule (Typical Day):
9:00am–9:30am | Medical Clinic Briefing & Review
Instructor-led review of prior-day clinical work, patient/athlete updates, key questions, and the plan for the day.
9:30am–11:00am | Medical Lecture Series — PT Foundations & Medical Terminology
Medical-school style instruction with certification-prep pacing: PT fundamentals, anatomy/physiology, and clinical terminology.Â
11:00am–12:00pm | Clinical Skills Lab + Pro Sports Case Application
Hands-on skills driven by sports injury scenarios (ex: vitals, ROM goniometry, Kinotek AI Motion Analysis, KT taping, and recovery modalities)
12:00pm–1:00pm | Lunch BreakÂ
1:00–3:30 | Supervised Clinical Practicum (Clinic Floor Training)
Students rotate through PT tech responsibilities: exercise support, modalities/recovery tools, equipment setup, professional communication, and clinic workflow/documentation routines—under direct supervision.Â
3:30–4:00 | End-of-Day Debrief (Feedback + Clinical Takeaways)
Wrap-up, Q&A, targeted feedback, and preview of the next day’s focus.Â
